Astral model moving glazing balcony system can be described as glass curtain where there are no frame interfering with the view, where glasses can be moved and opened at desired points by being folded.

The system, totally designed in accordance with the zoning legislations, protects the desired volume against adverse external conditions such as wind, dust, rain, snow, polluted air, it only allows daylight to enter and ensures uninterrupted panoramic view.

In general, it is used with the aim of protecting balconies from external conditions, however, it can also be used to create separate sections in interior spaces. The glasses can be mounted in a manner harmonious with the angles present at the site of application and makes easy turns on the corners formed by the angles when moved and thus, gives opportunity to be opened at desired points by being folded.

The system is formed from aluminum case and double wing aluminium profile, glass wool supported polyamide plastic components, stainless steel carrier bolt-nut, bearing and 8mm thick tempered and grinded glass.

Aluminum case and double case are produced from 6063 aluminum alloy in accordance with DIN 1748 norm and also undergo thermal process. Profiles are painted with electrostatic powder paint with 256 different options from RAL color group according to the preference.

Plastic components are either produced from glass wool supported polyamide or only from polyamide and black and white color options are available.

Carrier bolt nut and spacers are produced from stainless steel.

Movement of glasses with minimum resistance and friction is ensured with freedom of movement of polyamide coated bearings fixed with stainless bolts inside aluminum wing profiles on the rail composed of grooves within the aluminum case.
Bearings are 6000ZZ and or 6000 2RS closed series and are designed so as not to allow any foreign matter from external environment to enter between the bearing carrier and balls.

Glasses are 8mm thick tempered and grinded and resist against heat and impact shocks minimum 5 times the regular glasses. The glasses can also be selected as colored and/or reflect.
